1994: Mosaic was transformed into Netscape. (Includes a security protocol (SSL)

1995: VeriSing developed digital IDS First sale on Amazon.com by Jeff Bezos

1996: Pierre Omidyar introduced a website called AuctionWeb

1997: On September 1997 e-Bay had expanded worldwide

1998: ADSL allowed users of the web to access internet speeds at higher bandwiths

2008: Omidyar put on-line buying and selling in the hands of the public
